I know enough about the crowd of straight men into futa porn to know that they're largely not gay. I can't sell them femboy art unless that femboy is stand-in for themselves getting railed by big mommy's gigadong.
However, cartoons and real life are not the same, and I doubt most of these guys find troons attractive. And even if they do find one tranny porn star who they like, I think most of them would never countenance actually following through with their fetish for a chick with a dick in real life, because there are WAY MORE men consuming the porn than living the life.
Most men are smart enough to know what sort of things should stay in the realm of fantasy - that's why violent videogames are fantastically popular, but we aren't going out shooting people.
It's still fringe, but there are attempts to push the term "futanari" out of use in place of "intersex" and "transgender." Seems pretty clear now that it's just another attempt for these sex pests to make it socially unacceptable to reject them.
There are, and I refuse to use those terms. I'm not drawing narrow-hipped trannies with shrivelled testicles, so I'm not using tranny terms. I'm drawing fantasy beings.
Transgender, almost always called transsexual in the "biz" has traditionally been a hetero genre. Goes with the boy-girl porn and the lesbian stuff that's mostly really for men. Gay is like a different segment of the industry.
And I think the main reason for that -- the porn isn't "straight" -- is the audience.
