This place is ending, and most are wasting their last moments and chance to glorify God in the face of adversity, to stop chasing temporal pleasures that pass away and focus on their eternal soul.

I'm at the age where contemplation of eternity and staying high is more important than getting laid. My outlook is more Buddhist than Christian, but Lewis is right.
I'd like to spend however many days remain in a one-bedroom shack in the NC mountains near good fishing, with room for a subsistence garden/truck patch.
Time's a wastin'! If it doesn't happen in the next 4 years, it never will.
