His Ghost of Mars, which was supposed to be the third Snake film, was total garbage.
(Escape from LA wasn't any good too.)
If the CGI wasn't... early it would've been a simply underwhelming sequel. There were a few redeeming elements (like Bruce Campbell's appearance) but otherwise it lacked the charm and originality of Escape from New York.
EFLA was more of a comedy than anything else. Once I realized that, I kind of enjoyed it for what it was, but it didn't hold a candle to EFNY.
