Peterson himself is already immune to these histrionics because he's built a gigantic cottage industry on top of his fan base.

He's like the prototype of a public intellectual who builds a following outside the existing, compromised institutions of academic publishing, the corporate press, and higher ed.

Admire his manner and his ideas or not, Peterson is a hero for his stand against Turdeau and creeping Canadian totalitarianism.
