At this point, he's so weak that I'd stop voting for him to save MY reputation for not backing someone so pathetic
Then again, Biden is president and we saw who the Dems vote in...
Edit: as of time of speaking, 10 votes, still a loser, I think the whole 'let's threaten them to vote Kevin' plan backfired..
Edit 2: 11 votes, still rejected more times than the quiet kid at prom. Apparently the total record for speaker rejections is 44 so they may speed run for that record.

If he is weak, that is all the more reason to back him. It makes him easier to influence and be the 'power behind the throne'.

They keep voting because it's either that or a vote on adjournment, which they are not sure to win.
However, they appear to be closer to a deal, which is actually great.
I know folks like to see the corrupt GOP be humiliated, but there is a point at which it becomes counterproductive. The point is to extract concessions.
As I said in my edit, there's apparently been reports of threats to 'the rebels' by the McCarthy team and supporters.
Now I might not be a lifelong politician, but when the premise of ANY deal is trust that you follow through yet you have your supporters calling them terrorists, taliban and threatening to cut them off from committees, privileges and effectively blacklisting them within the party, who the fuck would believe that any deal will be honored?
You might as well go 'fuck you, you want to end this, get someone else to run or vote Democrat!'
