People familiar with the situation said Mr. Bryan had been frustrated with Ms. George for sometime and that her action against the bank was the final straw.

I can't decide if she knew she was going to be fired and decided to do this to spite the Governor. Either way good for her. At least it made JP Morgan sweat for half a second.
