This hypothesis would explain why we hear the MSM making statements that aren't even based within the reality of their own circles. I've heard Leftists claim blacks couldn't own property in America until 1964. I remember "Morning Joe" claiming that Kyle Rittenhouse fired 60 rounds. Hundreds of people on the left were stunned to realize that Kyle didn't kill any black people (they thought he killed 4). And at no point did Pfizer ever claim that their injections could prevent transmission.

And these are just examples of what literate white progressives genuinely believe. The kinds of things black folx believe are even wilder.
