What the fuck do they even mean by 'trans' people at this point?

There's potions and spells in harry potter that let you shapeshift into almost anything you want, as far as the franchise is concerned some of the characters might not be what they appear already.

If they mean 'trans' as in degenerate pedophile creeps with rotting axe-wounds between their legs, what does the franchise have to gain from that?
