You just described the problem with homosexuality in general. We generally lets boys have sleepovers with other boys, and girls have sleepovers with other girls, because while kids will be kids, there's a certain set of things you can generally trust them not to get up to. We don't generally let boys and girls have sleepovers together, for good reasons.
But now my son has a friend who says he is "bi". Should they be allowed to have sleepovers anymore?
Once we've completely normalized homosexuality, sleepovers are basically over. Really, letting kids be alone together for any significant period of time goes out the window if you don't want them doing sexual things at too young of an age. Our kids can no longer socialize as children. Which is what they want anyway.
