He is better off with a millstone around his neck and tossed into the sea, Jesus said as much - I take this to mean that such a man is already liquidated and that to dispose of him in no manner more or less cruel/humane is a simple matter of moral hygiene.
You cannot kill someone who is already dead in the eyes of the Lord, and a corpse must nevertheless be disposed of with no motivations of personal aggrandizement.
