I honestly think it is because they are tired to bending the knee. I'm sure all people involved are leftists but leftists eat each other all the time and having to make sure not to offend their own people is tiresome. If they separate race from real life race they have more creative freedom. I'm also taking it as a sign that financially they are doing very poorly and need to put out content that people want to play, hence it can't be just woke indoctrination.
