The sooner people come to terms that Hitler was a good man and not evil the better. I don't think the boomers ever will, but that's because they took all the media indoctrination hook line and sinker. If I had the choice to have my country ran by Hitler or Justin Trudeau there is no competition.
It's not a very easy way to break this down to people, and there is certainly better ways to do it. But given the circumstances this kind of issue needs to be brought up one way or another. It's a serious issue, from which many other issues like immigration, wokeness, and debt poverty are derived. It has to enter public consciousness one way or another.
He wasn't a good man. But he wasn't the incarnation of evil either--no human can be that. Treating him as a man who did monstrous things (and some good things) is better than treating him as a monster because it removes our capacity to see ourselves--fellow man--in him.
