especially with Starlink available..

Starlink coverage in the eastern US is pretty slim, and there isn't enough slack bandwidth to accommodate a serious challenger to the big three players in the US market right now.

Whether or not the big three would be willing to sell his service airtime depends on how invested they are in perpetuating the cartel.

They tolerate the small startups, but may not do the same for a serious competitor.
