As a business man I think he was susceptible to falling for the idea that they just were in it for some money. Like "they do some big service for society and mid to long term they make out like bandits with a huge wad of cash, everyone wins."
What I think he was completely oblivious to is that these entities want money and control so much they would put hundreds of millions of people's lives at risk with an untested product and by forging data, etc.
Biggest mistake Trump did was pushing the vaccines. Thankfully, most of the Informed (non-normies) didn’t go for it and most normies stopped at one.

Yeah, his biggest flaw as President was assuming that loyalty was a common virtue instead of an exceedingly rare one.
