Scorsese and Tarantino have good movies. When I think of the golden age of Hollywood I think great movies. Not necessarily about the race. Denzel Washington has had some great movies for instance. What is killing entertainment is the obsession with diversity. That has lead to hiring no talent writers and actors based on checking a box
It also seems to lead to terrible characterisation. Because we have a diverse cast playing diverse characters, we mustn't ever put them through any adversity, because that would be problematic.
And so the character - every character - turns to porridge.
