I remember a media shitfest from my country a few years ago. A high schooler girl from Somalia, about 16 I think, sued her school because they told her she couldn't wear a hijab. (It was a specialized school, basically a prep school for nurses. They were fine with the hijab in classrooms, but they told her she had to wear a hairnet instead during practical lessons, because that's what the regulations say.)
Everyone was arguing about whether it is or isn't right to forbid her from wearing a hijab, and I was like... 1) What the fuck is a bulbhead doing here? We're in the middle of Europe, and 2) God damn, there are actually fat Somalians?
