It was a long journey, and it all started with Theresa May for PM. After a year of her leadership, there was a push I had never seen anything even remotely similar to, where all media reported in lockstep about "female victims of violence needing to kill their partners for their safety".
I think the last straw for me being a normie was hearing the psycho behind it got her own TV special where she talked about how she "had to" go to the guy's house and beat him to death with a claw hammer.
I lost faith in the system being corrected around 2018, when May was involved in yet another push to harm men, her CPS hiding documents from defence lawyers. Not one person called for her to be removed from office for it.
Boris Johnson was removed for breaking Covid rules a few months ago, something that is insignificant compared to what May did.
I'm an only child, and I'm grateful for my mother's support in what was a crazy decision at the time I made it. I think that women can move past their biases if they consciously desire to.
