Now that the threat-to-national-security narrative has collapsed, the new @TorontoStar argument is that "racism and hate" comprise an emergency all on their own. (Author is a board member of @antihateca, of course, whose chairman was caught spreading fake news during the convoy)
So under this analysis, there's a threat to public security whenever people whom the author accuses of having "hateful views" gather.
