I haven't seen Parkland footage, but I did see some from Waukesha. There were some scathing, cathartic comments from family members/friends of victims yesterday. My assumption is that there might have been some prayerful comments in Parkland as well. It may be as simple as what selection of coverage you've seen.
In any case, keep your attention on the hearts of all. They may yet turn towards the light and find forgiveness for their respective aggressors.
