Everyone seems to agree it was an S-300 anti air missile at this point. Either NATO is lying to cover Zelensky's ass - which I doubt - or yes, it was an accident.
They fired AA, it didn't detonate, kept going until it ran out of fuel, and landed on two hilariously unlucky fucks on a farm.
From Ukraine's point of view, it tracked a missile, fired on it, and then heard about an explosion. It would have been logical for them to conclude that missile they fired at was what did the damage, rather than their own AA missile.
