I remember in 2020, I thought 'no way does Trump lose, not to this walking national security crisis". How wrong I was. Now I'm hearing all this red wave stuff, and it just feels so familiar.
Right now my thinking is 'I'll believe it when I see it, but I don't expect to see it'. I'm sure a couple of seat will flip, but is it going to be anywhere near as big as its being made out to be?
A lot of it is going to depend on whether we can stop the left from cheating. The election in Virginia last year showed that it's possible. I wouldn't be shocked if the "red wave" is smaller than expected, especially since the Republicans have a relatively high number of seats going in. The reason the red waves were so big in 1994 and 2010 is that there were a lot of conservative districts represented by Democrats so they were easy pick ups. We already reclaimed a lot of those seats in 2020.
