I can't imagine females writing music at all, honestly.
Like, I can't think of a single song written by a woman, which I'm guessing means that I've never heard anything written by a woman that I thought sounded good enough for me to ask 'who wrote this?'.
I Will Always Love You was written by Dolly Parton. It and Un-Break My Heart by Diane Warren I think are the only two songs written by women to have sold over 10 million copies (out of about 50 songs that have; must be the patriarchy). e: Mariah Carey is a co-writer on All I Want for Christmas Is You but it sounds like her cowriter did much of the heavy lifting.

Thought about it for a second and you're completely right.
