If so, is it any good? I sometimes enjoy a generic Rock movie every now and again. Cavill as Superman again also has me interested, and I've been itching to see a comic-book movie, but Marvel is now woke trash so I don't have many options.

It was OK which is the best you will get in post-2016 corporate entertainment. If you liked Aquaman you will like Black Adam, same "feel", smaller scale.
It used humor like the pre-ragnarock marvel movies did where they didn't pause the whole scene to hit you over the head that they just made a joke.
No obvious "message" other than a very tepid, generic pro-revolutionary theme. The female lead occasionally lectured the men but nothing that would be out of place in the 90s, which is my barometer for that kind of thing.
Hawkman and Cyclone were turned black.
Never heard of cyclone before but you are right. But at least they didn't act "sassy" and cyclone was actually depicted as somewhat demure iirc.
