They turned Sasuke/Ninja Warrior into a global brand powerful enough to have a shitty American version (where we get to watch women pretend to be equal as they waste slots and time better athletes could have), and they could subsist on probably it alone for quite some time.
Yeah but its far less interesting. A 90 lb nothing of a woman was able to finish it three times in a row within the first 6 tournaments. Compared to the main show where despite the 4th time getting a victor, it took all the way until the 17th to see another.
But, I'm happy to let them have their own catered to their abilities. While the main show treats them, and all the other joke competitors, as the far chances they are. Compared to American versions where we are supposed to treat these as super srs contenders.
