How can anyone honestly think we ever left the Cold War? Once nukes became so widespread there is no going back. Which is why I roll my eyes when people freak out about the possibility of nukes dropping based on CURRENT THING. Idiots don't realize the gun barrel never fucking moved. It's so existential it isn't even worth worrying about. Just enjoy your life. I'll never understand why people think they were ever safe. Denial?
