I can answer. It's a combination of gaslighting, faking empathy to deflect criticism and trying to move the Overton window.

They know they are the problem, but they print this crap to make us believe it's "lack of ambition" like that just came from nowhere and not the hostile entity that controls our lives from the beginning of kindergarten.

The fake empathy provides a deflection if someone points out their many, many calls to discriminate against men.

They can move the Overton window away from hostility towards women by feigning caring.
