Boycotting a car company….. maybe I’m in the minority but I try to not buy cars all that frequently. I want to get 10-15 years or more out of a car before needing to replace it. So if you are not immediately in the market for a car how will the company feel the effect of a boycott? Like do they imagine in 8 years they are still going to be upset over Elon suggesting an end of a war that many of them are not involved in? It’s like if I vocally stated I’m boycotting Bugatti. I’ve never bought a car made by Bugatti, I’m not in the tax bracket that can afford a Bugatti, but somehow I’m going to boycott Bugatti. I know Tesla is significantly more affordable, but cars are not products bought at a high enough frequency where a boycott would be very noticeable.
