Polls here have been seriously compromised since (at least) 2014 or so.
Not that there wasn't cheating and corruption before with these polls. But at some point in the last decade, polling institutes have become propaganda tools for their owners.
So for example, the ever so powerful Frias family (who own Datafolha, one of the biggest polling institutes) thinks they'll make more money with candidate X winning, that's what the polls will say.
The crazy part is that normies KEEP TRUSTING these polls, and never question why they were so off.
That being said, there's no real joy in a Bolsonaro victory IMO.
Is it better than the convicted corrupt commie? Sure.
But it's far from good.
Bolsonaro ranks among the two weakest presidents in Brazil's recent history. The only president who was actually weaker than him was Dilma (because she was never a real politician, but a mere puppet of Lula).
Bolsonaro is doing what neocons do best, trying to slow down the progressive train a little bit. And right now, he's not even able to do that.
The supreme court has completely shut him down, he's taken defeat after defeat in the last two years. And in order to survive politically he allied himself with the scum of the earth, the nastiest corrupt old timers you can find.
Bolsonaro rules with the ever present fear of impeachment and criminal prosecution against his son's (they're all politicians who have barely worked a day in their lives).
And to make matters worse, Jair keeps trying to supress any right wing name that isn't under his wing. He and his son's have a virtual monopoly on right wing electors here, and they intend to keep it that way, whatever the cost.
Anyways, sorry for the huge post. I've meant to write this before, whenever I see some of guys fawning over Bolsonaro, but never really had patience to do it.
