The era of me giving a shit about video games has ended.

I'm not being snarky. I started Steam last night, looked at all the games I have, and couldn't be bothered to start any of them.

I know not every game is woke, but the fact that the industry is dominated by the type of people who wrote this article, who want every new product to be a vehicle for ideological propaganda, has cast a pall over the whole hobby.

I don't want to play, and I sure as hell don't want to give them any money.

And I don't even feel sad about it. It's re-ignited my interest in my IRL hobbies that I can enjoy without being subjected to constant messaging that I'm a horrible person due to my skin and genitals.

So thanks, I guess, woke commies! Your destruction of escapist entertainment has actually helped me find more enjoyment in the real world!
