So I checked on Global's TikTok journal Rachel Gilmore who whines when someone calls her a cunt on Twitter.
She shared some comments from the Press Gallery distancing themselves from his comments but she made no personal condemnation of his rhetoric or calls for him to be kicked out of the gallery- or any punishment whatsoever.
One of the things I've always appreciated about working on the Hill is how you get to see, up close, that the majority of MPs really just want to help Canadians. They just disagree about the best way to do it -- hence the different parties
While things can get tense in a tough scrum or on the phone with staff when trying to get answers, I've always found a sense of mutual respect between journalists and politicians. I'm glad that's how this usually works. Our jobs are stressful enough as it is, eh guys?
