I'm a contractor for a Canadian school that's cancelled classes for "Truth and Reconciliation Day" next week. I'm "invited" to buy a branded orange shirt to wear and attend a smudging ceremony and then sit and listen to an elder in our newly-relabeled meeting room - sorry, "indigenous gathering room" - on the day.

So I think the answer is "no".
