Maybe the right also uses bots but this platforms look the other way for leftist bots.

I'm sure they do. It's always amazed me how many people in the mentions of political pundits and politicians are clearly not actual humans. I find it very hard to believe there are that many grandmothers with 100 followers (who also appear to be bots) and 20k tweets exclusively to Ben Shapiro and Donald Trump.
