Just an idea, but movies have a very small time commitment compared to books, and can tie into hidden gems. I think it would be cathartic to find good entertainment in a movie when they actually had some purpose and true storytelling. My first nomination would be Princess Mononoke, but as a weekly or biweekly commitment for actual discussion would be healthy for the community and create a crowdsourcing for our precious storytelling without woke influence.

Holy shit, just thought of Batman: mask of the phantasm. Another great cinematic experience that is definitely worth adding to the list for gaming/ nerd culture.
I would join this discussion.
I recently rewatched that and just didn't enjoy it like I did as a kid. Maybe the plot was too silly or I couldn't buy the premise/plot twist.
The Animated Series still holds up though. I can't think of another cartoon series that nails everything so perfectly.
