Does anyone know if “Rab”, as in, the phonetic spelling of “Rob”, is a common thing in present-day Scotland..??
Because I can assure you that it was not, historically… Even amongst the clans…
The closest we have, in history, is “Rabbie Burns”, and he, himself, did not spell it that way, lol…
