I don't know what denationalization means. Making things not state-owned? Also they also keep saying "Solidarity". I suppose this made more sense to people in 1989 post-Soviet Poland. Anyway just an interesting look back at how Soros has been taking advantage of crises to sweep in and manipulate the world economy for a long time.
Everything was state owned. Communists have nationalised everything.
In the mid/late 1980s during the "thaw" reforms (corresponding with these in the Soviet Union) they allowed some very small business, like independent shopkeepers or people importing and selling personal computers (they were also selling pirated software, and others were selling pirated VHS tapes with American movies in the various dedicated marketplace events, usually on Sunday mornings). Such people were being deresively referred to as prywaciarze (literally privateers, just not in "a pirate" meaning).
