There is a good chance that the communists you ran into at the start of GamerGate were actual Russian agents.
"but weren't they ISIS?" Yeah, they were paying the ISIS recruitment network (Revolution Muslim etc) to run the Russian operations and disguise themselves as communists. Russia had trained their forefathers in the '60s and '70s so they knew how to act and what to say. Then they swept the internet for anyone who opposed the Russians, as the #Gamergate and #NotYourShield hashtags made everyone easy to find, and they installed ISIS with no opposition.
"but weren't they Canadian glowniggers?" That may be answered by Person of Interest #3: from the same Leonard Blavatnik School of Government:
Dean of School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University
State Council of China
Vice President of China Association of Public Administration
a member of the Governing Board of International Development Research Center (IDRC)
IDRC is a Canadian crown corp. He may have been giving them orders.
"but isn't /pol/ always right?" Let's look into that Peterson Institute and see that Person of Interest #1 from Sberbank was advising...
Lady Lynn de Rothschild
Make what you will of that, and keep on Gamergating.
The Chinese have always supported the Left for the obvious reason that the American Left is against the US military, and against a strong international presence, so the Left is a far easier enemy for the Chicoms to defeat than the American Right.
The Russians supported both sides when the Right seemed to be weaker, with the goal being maximum conflict and chaos, but has shifted towards supporting the Left much more now since it's super obvious that the Left is doing a great job of trying to destroy western society.
I agree that the American Left was against the military, but are they still? I think they've shifted more pro-Military ever since the Trump Vietnam thing. It makes more sense to support the left because of all the various subfactions. It appears to be a political movement united as a reaction to the right. But if they ever consider the right to not be a threat, what's to stop the subfactions from immediately fighting for more privileges that come at the expense of others?
The version of the military that the left supports would not be a threat to anybody outside American borders.
What you're seeing, I think, is the left attempting to change the military's mission to one they could get behind - persecution of domestic dissidents.
