Back in my day kids would argue moreover the color of the Power Ranger they'd like to pretend rather than the race of the character.

When my PE teacher tried to divy us up into teams based on favorite ranger, it fell apart when everyone liked the red ranger and just a handful of kids liked anything else. I'm pretty sure there wasn't even a racial breakdown on those outliers.
