I haven't even figured out why there should be fear. What's the downside, you get a little sick with gross sores all over? They haven't even been pushing the fear of being forced on a ventilator and bodies piling up like they made up with Covid.

I think they're relying on having primed the pump with The Most Deadly Plague Evar™ and just being able to go "Oooh, infection" and have the population clapping like trained seals.
