The only reason the WNBA exists at all is because the NBA subsidizes it. The WNBA has never made any money, it hardly gets any viewership. Both the Oprah channel and Oxygen, the women's channel, got out of their WNBA broadcasting contract as soon as they could. The only reason you can watch a WNBA game broadcast is because when you buy the rights to cover the NBA you get the WNBA thrown in for free.
The WNBA finals is regularly beat out by the Little League World Series, which in my opinion is far more interesting.
Also, apparently WNBA isn't even in the spell check dictionary for Firefox/Pale Moon. Hilarious for such a woke company like Mozilla.
