I get it, Hollywood is full of pedos. But sometimes a very simple and lazy design is just a design.
Ordinary stairs would've been just that - ordinary. The whole point is that this thing is supposed to look extraordinary.
All it takes is a director saying 'These stares need to POP! They've gotta draw our eyes up every step! They need more detail!' and some set designer cuts pattern into them.
The flight of the navigator example is particularly creepy given the subtext one could see in the film, but this stuff could so easily be coincidence that it's almost pointless to point it out, because it will just make you look like a crazy in the eyes of normies.
The first one is the logo of a German ice cream brand Langnese.
Also Algida, Wall's - they're owned by Unilever, they use the same logo but different names for brand recognition.
Man, I haven't had a nogger in years.
I'm surprised they haven't canceled Nogger yet. So much food in Germany has been canceled in recent years. Apparently there was even a Swedish version with licorice which was called Nogger Black.
