I was a Teamster for 15 years. All they were interested in was collecting their union dues. The end.
I used to be in a union and I had a dispute with my employer where they were completely disregarding the rules in the employee handbook.
The union wouldn't do shit for me and said "why would we help you when you're just one person, there's not much return on that for us".
Cancelled my membership that day and I'll never join a union ever again.
