Honestly, it's not easy to keep resetting your expectations of just how terrible lefties can be.

I recall a quote:

If you want to find out what a man is to the bottom, give him power. Any man can stand adversity — only a great man can stand prosperity.

By that metric, the left has failed abysmally. They don't even have a great deal of power and they can think of nothing better than to abuse what they have in an attempt into parlaying into yet more power to abuse.
