In Metro 2033 Spartans are people fighting for this world, for the good, they're people defending the civilization, people who have no political affiliation, people who do everything to protect the citizens of Metro. And now these warriors of light suddenly turn into real militias and I'm now an ideological inspirer of some paramilitary. Metro 2033 is a humanitarian book, those people just take the superficial look and symbols, but they do not understand the deeper layers of meaning in that story.

I haven't read the books but I played through the games recently and really enjoyed it.
I finished the 2 first games twice (original and Redux) plus most of DLC, actually got Exodus months ago but didn't play it yet.
