I'm starting to be convinced that EA is starting to hurt a bit from ruining everything they've touched and maybe their upper management is backing out of some of the woke. Total speculation of course. A group of about 10 people I've gamed with over the years there's a time we'd all buy two or three of the annual-type EA games a year. It's coming close to 4 years now that I don't think any of us has bought a single one. I do racing games with one of my cousins occasionally who's a bit more normie and easier to influence (he's a kid) and not once has he said "let's get a Need for Speed game." That was a franchise I bought quite a bit growing up. Bioware doesn't make anything but shit now. EA's time is coming to an end in my opinion.
Yeah I'm sure they still all sell. I wonder a bit if they just replaced revenue from sales with the microtransaction crowd. I mean it sure is a cash cow in other games like Fortnite.
And nothing of value was lost.
