Blackrock, Vanguard, ESG scores. Not absolving the corps of anything, but they basically have to be creepily progressive or they lose most of their money. The system is broken because most people are lazy, and some are greedy.

Absolutely blame Disney, but don't forget to blame ESG too, as it's incredibly important to talk about. They're also trying to do something similar at the federal > state level, where states won't get their money without good social credit. Disgusting.
