I think the original Mass Effect series embodies the political ideology of classical liberalism where it was seen as good to judge individuals solely by their actions and not by their racial background.
These original Mass Effect games were clearly not pushing the woke leftism/progressivism of today.
The games had a overall message that actual outer space aliens and humans could potentially work together to attain a common goal. That is not exactly an allegory for globalism in the real world like American Krogan states it to be.
If you make the argument that classical liberalism is responsible for our woke hell then yes I can see why you would have a bone to pick with this series.
I will agree with Krogan that the series did push homosexuality and that they did make the nationalist human organization Cerberus into cartoonish evil in the third game.
Comparing the original Mass effect games to actual woke trash like The Last of Us 2, the difference is night and day.
To no one's surprise, the Mass Effect series do not have white nationalist tradcon values but they were not subversive woke trash games either.
The first two games in the series atleast had memorable likeable characters, fun gameplay and a decent plot.
If you examine video games from the lens of white nationalism like American Krogan does, then yes pretty much no videogame is going to espouse those political values.
I personally enjoyed the first two games of the original Mass Effect series and I don't think it was pushing a subversive political message like the preachy woke games of today.
