In the sequel series, [Tim Allen] is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s suddenly starting to lose his Santa magic, and more important, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the North Pole. With a lot of elves, children and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa
Kal Penn will play Simon Choksi, an ambitious game inventor and product developer and a devoted single father. Simon can talk the tech-mogul talk but can’t walk the walk, and his dreams of being the next Bezos falls drastically short. But all that changes after a visit to the North Pole.
If you’re familiar with the movies, Tim Allen’s Santa’s real name was “Scott Calvin”, initials S.C.
Scott Calvin = Simon Choksi = SC = Santa Claus
Kal Penn is also gay… so you can bet Disney is gonna make a “Mr. & Mr. Claus”. This is unreal.
It can't happen if they stay consistent with what's come before. What we know of the Mrs. Claus reads:
"The cardholder acknowledges... one true love or better half - in fact a woman of his choosing, to be bound in holy matrimony and to be kn... not valid in the state of Utah."
Great catch and good point...but all this likely means is that the diversity hire "writers" of this dreck will need to rub a few brain cells together to come up with a "clever" way to retcon or rewrite that, probably the new Santa will need to sign a different contract that's been "updated" for modern times.

In other words, Santa Claus must marry a woman.
