How much $ has been pumped into this body?

How much will it cost to keep this person alive?

Maybe this is the American Economy personified: lots of output by the consumer in expenditure of capital on luxury and indulgence, further propagating the health care system in turn?

Anyway, she'll be dead in 15 years or have no legs.
