I have a feeling that what it is pushing in that case is what's actually most popular.
That would make sense from a business point of view, to try and push those into niche topics into the normie world.

I've never used it myself, but I'd guess this is because TikTok works like YouTube does/used to.
It maximizes engagement and user retention by placing everyone in an echo chamber where they only see things they would agree with.
So, if I was there, I'd see nothing but anti-feminism. If a feminist was there, she'd see her kill all men fantasies.
