They are too stupid to tell it's fake.

Because it's the sort of thing they believe white conservatives would do.

Just like Jussie Smollet believed it was plausible that in he middle of chicago, two guys with maga hats saw him, jumped him, yelled 'this is maga country!' and put a rope around his neck.

Any conservative knew this scene out of 1950s mississippi would never be happening in chicago in 2019 and IMMEDIATELY smelled grade A bullshit, but to the left, it was a plausible thing that, in their minds, republican voters in Chicago would do.

The left genuinely believes the right are a bunch of retarded animals.
